These urns were made as part of a micro-residency in response to the items collected by the last owners of Lauriston Castle. The small urns were cast in paraffin wax from one which I designed and 3-D printed. I was intrigued by using a process of replication to mimic the original, very rare Bluejohn urns at the Castle, especially as the previous owners developed a successful business reproducing furniture in the style of antiques, making it accessible to many people.
